Sofwave offers a non-surgical solution to tighten and lift skin on the brow, jawline, neck, décolletage, and arms—with no needles or recovery required! It’s an ideal option if you’ve started to see laxity in your skin, but aren’t ready for surgery. Sofwave treatments are performed in our physician-led med spa in Eugene and overseen by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Kiya Movassaghi. In just one hour, you can achieve dramatic yet natural-looking rejuvenation.
What is Sofwave & how does it work?
Sofwave uses Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam (SUPERB™) technology—multiple beams of ultrasound energy that heat deeper skin layers to 60–70°C (140-158 degrees Fahrenheit). This is the temperature range at which collagen contracts and new collagen and elastin begin to form (these proteins are responsible for keeping the skin lifted and smooth). This thermal effect is called neo-collagenesis.
Sofwave’s SUPERB™ ultrasound beams do not disrupt the skin’s surface, and the integrated Sofcool™ contact cooling keeps you comfortable while the deeper tissue remodels, tightening and lifting the skin over the weeks that follow treatment.
Want to double down on your results with muscle toning? We now offer Pure Impact for strengthening and toning the muscles of the abdomen, thighs, arms, and buttocks—the perfect treatment to pair with Sofwave.

Our Sofwave Protocol
Here’s what you can expect during a typical Sofwave treatment at our Eugene medical spa:
Consultation
You’ll meet with one of our AlliedPro-trained aesthetic experts to discuss your goals and determine if Sofwave is right for you. Once you are ready to proceed, we apply a topical anesthetic to enhance your comfort during treatment.
Treatment
We glide the Sofwave handpiece in overlapping passes to ensure even coverage of your treatment areas. The session lasts 30 to 45 minutes. We use the Sofcool™ system throughout treatment to protect your skin. Most patients feel brief warmth during treatment. The anesthetic and cooling technology help keep the experience comfortable.
Recovery and downtime
You can return to work, workouts, or social plans immediately after your session. Any mild redness after your Sofwave treatment fades quickly.
“Each visit is wonderful. The staff is friendly, and efficient. Karen is knowledgeable and always able to answer my questions in a way that I completely understand what the procedure will be and what effects I might expect.”

Sofwave Results & Timeline
Here’s what you can typically expect after your Sofwave treatment:
- When results begin: Most patients notice subtle skin tightening within 4 weeks of treatment.
- Best results: Improvements continue over time, with peak results typically seen around 12 weeks as new collagen forms and strengthens.
- What the research shows: Clinical studies have shown that some patients experience visible results after a single session.
Most patients are very pleased with their results after a single session. If you’d like to see stronger improvement in more pronounced laxity, it is safe to have another Sofwave treatment. We recommend waiting about 3 months between treatments to give your initial treatment results enough time to fully develop.
